Bob Hopper and Gerald Byrnes coax the engine into life on Sunday's mark-set boat. Without a radio, and having to place a mark in water that was 200 feet deep, mark setting was a challenge for them. They also had lots of suggestions for making future regattas run more smoothly. Mark setting duties on Saturday were provided by Lee Brammeier, Tom Brammeier, and Gerald Byrnes on the pontoon boat that Lee and Norm Schreifels own.
