Sunday's light air with plenty of Buccs and boats

Light winds brought a challenge to the Buccaneer Rodeo on Sunday. But, with sunnier skies, more boats came out than the day before, with nine Buccs starting, followed by ten boats from the New Mexico Sailing Club. Jim Daus on Quack Quack edged out David Spira's Euphoria for overall regatta honors, followed by Pat Blumm's Scarlet Banshee, in turn just one point ahead of Quack with James Gray and Josh Reed. Special notice was also made of Aaron, the Buccaneer Rodeo's youngest skipper on Blue.

The Scarlet Banshee, with Arizonans Pat Blumm and Dennis Martinelli on board, enjoy the view during a quiet moment on Sunday.
